after we unlocked Rub-a-Dub-Tub, The Sims Social is begging again for Likes, this time if they reach 1,250,000 Likes, this Guitar will be released.

as reported by Brandy Shaul of blog.games.com, it seems that there is still no definite date for the release of The Sims Social on Facebook Electronic Arts CEO Jon Riccitiello explained why.

"We aren't going to put out the stats. They're highly sensitive competitive comparisons, which is one of the reasons we're also not giving you a launch date. It's relatively easy for a competitor to buy all the relevant advertising, say 24, 36, 48 hours prior to a release."

it seems to me that they are avoiding competitors like Zynga to release a game exactly on the day that EA might release The Sims Social, thats why to avoid this, they will just probably release it at any day.

having studied Marketing a little, i could say that there current strategy [to let users LIKE there page and then if they reach a certain amount of likes, an item will be unlock] is a lame one simply because you let your customers wait for too long..... and customers doesnt want to wait in my opinion.

i hope that this strategy works though.

The Official Page of the Sims Social has finally reached 1 million.... because of this, Rub a Dub Tub has now been unlocked and we will get it once the game goes live!

The Official Page of The Sims Social posted another picture from a Beta Tester. judging from the pictures i saw, it seems we have few items on hand when the game goes live... considering there are alot of empty spaces. oh well.

The Official Page of The Sims Social gave as a sneak peak about there artist creating Sims Social items. i think it was cool.
